'Great Tits'

An amusing play on words! The idea behind it was of a woman, with outstretched arms and an enigmatic expression, feeling she's becoming wooden - her arms becoming a bird table. Yet she hasn't lost her femininity, or her power to attract attention. And she is still part of nature.

A triptych of pastels (the arms do link properly in the actual artwork!)

This triptych won the Oasis Art Prize in an exhibition in the Mall Galleries, London in 2002 that was hosted by The Pastel Society. Documents are available to buyer.
