The homemade Chambord is complete - all filtered and bottled; the jam & marmalade have been distributed - all to family and friends; the kitchen DID get wallpapered - all pink & red with huge roses; the tree, lights and decorations are up - all sparkly and welcoming; and the dogs are super-excited - all hyped and barky!

Just the Christmas dinner to organise. But Daughter1 and Son are coming for Xmas so a diverse range of suggestions from them will, no doubt, collide with my basic traditional tastes. Somehow a compromise will be found between Fondant Celeriac, Singapore Chili Crab (their picks) and Roast Chicken with a dollop of Clapshot (my picks)!

One thing's for sure, the meal will be tasty - I can rely on my two to make a delicious spread!
